Michael C. Hudson directs the Middle East Institute of the National University of Singapore, and is honorary professor in the Department of Political Science. He is Professor Emeritus at Georgetown University, where he was Professor of International Relations since 1979 and the Seif Ghobash Professor of Arab Studies since 1980. He directed the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown intermittently from 1979 to 2010.
